👉 My story in the media
Growing up in a Chinese city with German colonial history, I am always fascinated by the power of cultural exchange and international communication. Even my ten-year dance training was a beautiful combination of Asian folk and Western ballet. In 2011, after volunteering in India, and receiving my bachelor’s degree in China, I went to study journalism in Boston and later became the lead marketing designer at an international education firm. With my experience in multimedia production and corporate communications, I was also assisting in the development of branding strategies for many startups in the Greater Boston region.
Four years later, I decided to jump out of my comfort zone and explore the world of design in Germany and Australia, where I had the opportunity to study service design from the pioneers in this field and collaborated with some of the world’s largest advertising agencies and consulting firms. Now as the senior communication design partner, I strive to enhance brand impact and thought leadership by crafting 360-degree creative content. In the meanwhile, I am passionate about entrepreneurship and cinematography and looking forward to opportunities to bring business and film ideas alive through content marketing and experience design. I hope with more cross-cultural efforts, people from different backgrounds will understand each other better and create more wonders together.
